Lisa M Burnside, CIC, CPCU, MBA

Lisa lives on a lake in Minnesota and on a golf course in Arizona and she didn’t have to wait until retirement to get there.  This is just one of many goals she has attained in her life thanks to leveraging technology.

In 1981 she worked with her dad at Valley View Insurance Agency in Edina, Minnesota.  They both left that agency in 1983 and were joined by her mother to open their own agency, Administrative Safety Services, Inc. which later became Truck Writers, Inc.  Her brother, sister and a host of cousins joined the agency and opened more locations.  In 2008, she kept the family and got out of the businesses to open Burnside Dynamics LLC where she follows her passion of speaking.  She is making her elementary school teachers proud with finally utilizing that skill they kept writing on her report cards, “Lisa talks a lot in class.”

Speaking of school, she graduated from the University Of Minnesota Carlson School Of Management in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and then obtained her MBA online from Walden University in 2004.  The Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation was obtained in 1991 with the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation following in 1993.  Microsoft master certified her as a Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS).

She is now President of Burnside Dynamics LLC providing top-notch education, management coaching and dynamic presentations to various organizations.
