The Laboratory Animal Management Association (LAMA) that is. Lisa will be presenting two keynotes at their annual convention in Scottsdale Arizona on March 31 and April 1.
Their theme is “Bridging the Divide: Managing People, Places and Things”. The two presentations will fit in perfectly:
Thursday, March 31 – Dealing with Workplace Personalities
Can’t we all just get along? Every entity has a variety of tasks that need to be accomplished. It takes different people with various personalities to complete those tasks. This session will look at why we are so different and how that is a good thing. You will gain insights as to how you can deal with the personalities that don’t quite mesh with your own.
Friday, April 1 – Growing the Right Employees
Even if you don’t have a green thumb when it comes to gardening, you can get beautiful results when you know how to grow your employees. It’s all about the 4 key steps in growth success. This session will help you understand the difference between an employee and the right employee; how to make your department or organization flourish; and what everyone needs to succeed.
